Art Advice
Over the past decade, I've collected and written down insights and advice from a selection of free discussion series, gallery openings, panels, salons, lectures, and readings I have attended. The language collected is intentionally ambiguous, leaving an opportunity for others to consider their past experiences in order to relate to the content in whatever way they see fit. After collection, these texts are typically reproduced as black text on white paper and distributed in various ways without any credit or origin story, allowing the viewer to not only relate to each text but also claim ownership of it. This personal collection of tidbits has evolved into various projects and has inspired others to create new discussion series, residencies, and readings using the statements as a catalyst. All of the prints from the ongoing series are allowed to be reproduced, copied, collaged, remixed and re-released by anyone, as long as they are distributing them freely and are not claiming any ownership or copyright of the pieces themselves.
